Police take down gunman yelling 'anti-Trump' rhetoric at Trump National Doral Golf Club

Florida police shot a man early this morning who opened fire at a Miami-area golf resort owned by President Donald Trump, authorities said.

The man, armed with a handgun, was overheard yelling "anti-Trump" rhetoric and had draped a U.S. flag over a counter in the lobby of the Trump National Doral Golf Club, police said. He then fired shots into the ceiling and at chandeliers while apparently waiting for police to arrive, according to authorities.

Four officers from the Doral Police Department and one officer from the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to the incident after receiving a 911 call around 1:30 a.m. about an active shooter at the resort. Upon arrival, the officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect, police said.

The suspect was apparently trying to "lure" the officers into a "gunfight," Juan Perez, director of the Miami-Dade Police Department, told reporters this morning, though noting the man's "long-term intentions" were unclear.

"He did succeed and he did lose,” Perez said at a news conference. “That's the bottom line.”

The man, identified as Jonathan Oddi, 42, was shot multiple times by police and then taken into custody without further incident. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he is in stable condition, Perez said.

Oddi entered the U.S. in 1989 on a temporary visa as a visitor for pleasure, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed. He was originally from South Africa.

Anti-Trump Band NOFX Tells Vegas Audience ‘At Least It Was Country Fans’ Killed in Oct. Shooting

Michael John Burkett, who calls himself “Fat Mike,”made the comment while preforming with his band at the Punk Rock Bowling Music Festival in downtown Las Vegas over Memorial Day weekend.

In between songs, Burkett said to the audience, “We played a song and didn’t get shot. There’s no getting shot in Vegas unless you’re in a country band. That sucks, but at least it was country fans and not punk rock fans” who died in Las Vegas shooting.

Eight months has passed since the Las Vegas shooting in which 58 people were murdered and over 800 injured at the Route 91 County Music Festival. Police say alleged gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire from his 32nd floor suite at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino onto thousands of people attending the concert.

Las Vegas continues to grieve over the attack that shocked the world but that didn’t seem to bother the aging punk band, which has been around since 1983. NOFX continued to make jokes throughout their performance about the shooting.

NOFX and Burkett, 51, are no strangers to controversy and making distasteful remarks during performances. Last year at the same music festival in Las Vegas, “Fat Mike” decapitated a naked statue of Donald Trump on stage and proceeded to beat it with a baseball bat. Before decapitating the statue, he said, “If you’re a Trump supporter, {bleep} you, and get the {bleep} out of our scene.”

Officials Searching for PA Man Accused of Threatening to Kill Trump

U.S. Marshals are conducting a manhunt to find Shawn Christy, 26, who law enforcement officials say is considered to be “armed and dangerous,” WNEP reports.

Christy allegedly threatened to “put a bullet” in Trump’s head in a now-deleted social media post.

This is not the first time Christy had been accused of making threats against government officials. A judge sentenced Christy and his father to probation in 2012 for threatening former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and her attorney.
 
National Border Patrol Council Labels Peter Fonda as ‘Domestic Terrorist’

The statement follows a series of tweets from the actor where he called for people to dig up and release information about where ICE and CBP agents live and where their children go to school.

Biggs's official statement included a reference to last year's baseball field shooting as an example of what could happen when rhetoric is taken too far.

Two-Thirds of Democrats Say ‘Trump Treason’ Charge Is Sincere

The claims that President Donald Donald Trump is a traitor are made sincerely, not for political reasons, say almost four-out-of-five liberals and two-out-of-three Democrats, according to a Rasmussen poll.

Overall, 45 percent of likely voters believe the charges are made sincerely while 46 percent believe that charges are made for political purposes, says Rasmussen’s July 19-22 poll of 1,000 likely voters.
 
It's actually very difficult for a President to commit treason.

Clearly Trump has not raised an army and waged war against the US. And since the US has not been in any recognized wars since WWII, we don't have any actual enemies to aid. Sure, there's lots of countries that don't like us. There are countries that rival us. There are countries we are in proxy skirmishes with. There are countries we are actively supporting regime change in. But the changing alliances with them are called foreign policy.

Personally, I think a lot of President Trump's foreign policy has been ponderous, if not disastrous. But clearly a treason charge is political. Presidential treason is very specific for this very reason.

The fight comes just two days after Austin Clay, 24, took a pickaxe out of his guitar case and went to town on the star — the second time it's been destroyed in two years.

After turning himself in and reportedly getting bailed out by former Trump star vandal James Otis, Clay proudly told TMZ, "I just felt really passionate because of what happened with the immigrants and him stripping children away from their parents."

"I think Donald Trump represents everything that everybody with half a brain and half a heart in this country resents," he added. "So that’s why I did it."

Clay also revealed to TMZ that some famous names, including Robert DeNiro, Chelsea Handler and Mark Hamill, have personally contacted him to thank him for the act of vandalism. Clay says the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is requiring him to pay $3,000 to replace the star, but that he's "proud" of what he did.

LITTLE BOMB FACTORY ON THE PRAIRIE

Throughout June and July, a series of burglaries ripped across Tea and Dell Rapids, South Dakota. Police had a hunch who might be behind them and obtained a search warrant for the home of a Sioux Falls man. When they entered the unassuming, suburban apartment complex last Tuesday, they found the place littered in materials connected to the domestic terrorist organization known as antifa. Then they found the arsenal.

43-year-old Mark Einerwold was arrested after authorities found the stash of firearms, bomb making material, and communist and anti-police literature. DANGEROUS spoke with Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Captain Jason Gearman of the Sioux Falls Detective Bureau who elaborated the materials connected with antifa were paper flyers and print outs. Gearman said the materials cops found “indicated an intense distain for police, law enforcement,” and even “firefighters.”

“I don’t get it,” Gearman said, “everybody likes firefighters.” Antifa has been steadily escalating both physical violence and rhetoric since the 2016 election. They’ve been known to recruit drug addicts and the mentally ill as they openly propagate violent intentions on social media platforms as well as their own blogs. Antifa’s targets are usually patriotic groups -who they regularly gaslight by labeling them “Nazis” or “fascists.”

The group’s hatred of law enforcement is no secret. In South Dakota, police caught the aging Marxist with a number of explosive devices alongside ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder; which experts say have no other use except for making bombs.
