Not living in your country, I was completely unaware of this killing other than via this website.
There have been two threads (that I have seen) started by posters on this site about this killing.
Both are, to an outsider like me, excruciating as they were both started by those not simply defending the killer but also implying that the victim deserved it.
Both positions are put forward stridently and on the flimsiest of evidence.

I find myself wondering why anyone would feel the need to start such threads portraying themselves in such an unflattering, prejudicial and bloodthirsty light and the only answer I can come up with is that perhaps it isn't simply a trick of that unflattering light.

I hope I'm wrong but, either way, it's definitely not a good look.
 
Robert, I DO live in this country and I'm seeing exactly the same disingenuous attitude. You are observing one of the ugliest aspects of the American character. I have no patience for it.

Zimmerman was attacked by Trayvon, unless your saying Zimmerman attacked Trayvon using only his face to beat on Trayvon's fists.

If that is indeed the case, I apologise, as such would not indicate intellectual dishonesty so much as an honest lack of intellect.

This seems to be your default approach these days; assert something dubious, then lampoon anyone who challenges you. (Maybe it always was. I don't recall.)
The injuries have proved absolutely nothing beyond Zimmerman has some injuries. You see them as proof he was attacked by Martin because your sympathies lie with the killer.
Precisely *why* your sympathies lie with the killer is a matter for you and your conscience.
You also seem to think this kid deserved to lose his life.
Again, why you'd think such a thing is between you and your conscience.

However, none of that changes the fact that your entire argument on this thread is logically bankrupt, as has been repeatedly demonstrated to you.

Is that an example of intellectual dishonesty or an honest lack of intellect?

Multiple witness report 2 men were fighting, one on top of the other, who was pummelling the one on the ground, the one on the ground was shouting for help.

Trayvon's autopsy report shows 2 injuries, a gunshot wound to the chest, and lacerations on his knuckles. Zimmermans photos taken by police show numerous face and head injuries.

In both threads the original poster has been caught lying in an attempt to defend their position.

What are we to learn from this?
Perhaps the original poster has other reasons for their views than the fabrications they are feeding us.

The deleted transcript language certainly gives a very different context to the issue of whether Shellie Zimmerman knew how much was available or had an “estimate.” She offered to get the person who knew the exact amount on the phone, but the prosecution didn’t take her up on that. Note that in the Affidavit of Probable Cause the prosecution did not use an ellipsis or any other indication to show that words were omitted from the transcript presented to the judge

While the prosecution is allowed to edit items for clarity, it may not omit any information that by omission would materially mislead the court (as was done here)

if anyone should be charged with felony perjury, it should be the prosecutor for submitting a false affidavit when filing the charges. Her omissions in that Affidavit were substantive and to the core of the case pending before the court

Angela Cory should be disbarred
