I suppose that all depends on who's hands they're in. A nation state could easily put together enough computing power to crack any encryption wide open in a matter of weeks or a year or so. If so, the US might not see this as incentive to NOT nab him. Could be quite the opposite actually.

well actually he had to have known going into that job that the FBI would be looking at his online presence during his background investigation for clearance... if he posted the kinds of things most of us post he'd not have got that job...
