Interesting, just like any liberal I have ever tried to discuss topics with you choose hatred and name calling. This once again proves a lack of tolerance for others to express themselves and a lack of knowledge due to laziness. You offer nothing of substance and you are like a mindless robot believing anything the “Left-wing Machine” feeds you without thinking through to the logical end. So, I will not entertain your hatred and your bias toward ignorance which leads you and others like you to repeat the past. I believe that whether you are called a Liberal, Moderate, or Conservative the door for discussion should be open so, “We The People” can figure out how to move this country forward were our politicians have failed us on both sides of the isle. One more thing, the childish hatred Liberals in Congress spread is divisive and has now part in yours and my Government. Peace to you and good luck with you current view of the world. Kirk out.

Hmmm...... you started this thread with:

James T Kirk said:

then say:

So, either you are struggling to understand your own jibberish (if so, welcome aboard) or you are being deliberately obtuse.

Or maybe,

just maybe........

..... yes! That's it!

You are Fade and I claim my shiny fifty pence piece!

Kirk, why do you HATE so much?

All this HATRED spewing out from every post.

What's with all the HATRED, Kirk?

Are all of your views as shaped by HATRED as those you've displayed here?

I've never known so much HATE in one poster.

The HATRED just oozes from the screen when I read your posts.

How did you come to HATE so much, Kirk?

See, two can play at that intellectually bankrupt pish.

"Race" is any arbitrary line a person or group wishes to draw that allows them to feel superior to another group.

Other than that, it's a term with no content. Most "black" Americans are of mixed "race" and some Jews are semitic but the majority are eastern European while some are North African. The idea that "black" is a race or "jew" is a race is a fiction, but these are commonly held dividing lines. While the "identity" of "race" is fairly arbitrary, those who self-identify are as reluctant to give up their own label as those who "persecute" are loath to give up using the label as well.

Humans seem to desire to be part of a group but the flip side seems to be that the group has to be identifiable as a group outside of the rest of the people. Inclusion only makes you feel special if the group doesn't include everyone.

Okay. I will simplify it so you will understand. You are obviously having problems thinking and drawing any conclusions. I apologize for not being more simplistic. I will keep my thoughts brief and I will refrain from using big words.

1. The “Black Man” has complained so they could get the same rights as the “White Man” in society. There was a movement called “The Civil Rights Movement” where the “Black Man” lead by a minister who preached, lead marched, and died so the “Black Man” and all peoples would someday live together in harmony.
2. The “Black Man” has blamed that the “White Man” for slavery for past and present years.
3. The “Black Man” has always complained that it is a “White Man’s World”.
4. The “Black Man” claims to have been oppressed by the “White Man” could not get ahead in the USA.
5. The Federal Government has set of a system whereby people with darker skin and/or have bloodlines that can be identified as a pure blood other than Caucasian or white European decent. This system is call, “Affirmative Action”.

So, with that being said (tell me if I am going too fast), now that a black man has made it to the highest position in the free world, how can all of these claims continue? Logically they should stop. In addition, what is “race”? Is it skin color or is it bloodline? It seems as thought people use both definitions to their own advantage. If you are black you are a minority. If you are African-American you are a minority. Many people born in Africa are white. Are they a minority in the USA. Okay, I was born in the USA. That would make me a native of this land. If the Native-Americans are a minority does that make me one or am I cancelled out because my skin is white?

Maybe I should stop so you can take a day to read and grasp this.

Well give it back, because you haven't earned it with your drunken ramblings.

On the other hand, keep it and buy yourself some booze with less xxx content and maybe, just maybe, people will take your comments more seriously.

Ahh, Fade, old buddy. I was, you know, joking? Given your similarly wacky views. And don't worry, I'll keep doing whatever it is I enjoy and caring not a jot whether you take my comments seriously or not.
After all, I don't take you seriously so it would be a tad unfair to expect you to extend that courtesy to me. :pint:

Seriously a KKK rally and someone choosing to not be in their club got killed by the club? I guess I'm talking about the KKK who kills blacks, burns crosses, and spreads hate still being alive and well. Did I miss the memo where they changed their function to KidsKrossstichingforKrist?

Race as it applies to humanity? It's another word -- Speciesism or Specists.

Did you guys actually read the article?

Potok said while hate groups have grown over the past several years — coinciding with discontent over illegal immigration — Klan factions are not solidly organized in Louisiana or nationwide. He said 34 different named Klan organizations with 155 chapters operate across the country with as many as 6,000 members — small numbers in his estimation.

"Really, it's a pathetic collection of losers and thugs," Potok said. "Even across the radical right most people look down their nose at the Klan these days."

This ain't your great, great grand dad's KKK. Up to 6,000 members? In a country of how many million? The KKK has become the Boogey Man to the left

If anything this is a sign that racism has increased to the point of acceptance that special organizations such as the KKK are no longer needed. The bible belt in the nation is nothing short of lynching row.

In related news... John McCain's Aids stated that Palin thought Africa was a nation too...

how hard is it to type out the words" [ q u o t e ] insert the words you want quoted and type [ / q u o t e ]??? (without the spaces, of course)

that REALLY must be a strain

To the extreme I stated above yes I was joking.

I do find it interesting that the Bible Belt seems to have a higher rate of intolerance than the rest of the nation. They fought to keep slavery the longest. They banned interacial marriages. They have the highest divorce rates. They have the highest teen pregnancy rates. Gays are clearly unwelcome. Arkansas just banned gay adoption last election creating over 400 kids who will now be homeless unless the families move out of the state. Blacks are frequently not accepted. I believe it was here that in the last decade churches, mainly black attending, were burned down. This is a generalization but it would appear they missed the message of love and tolerance Jesus taught in the New Testament. Perhaps they haven't been able to read that far yet or something. :?

Now this isn't to say racism doesn't exist in other states. Minnesota had the largest KKK chapter north of the Mason-Dixon. My Norweign Grandfather is likely spinning in his grave that I've married and my children are partly First People.

Why do you react to someone who obviously does not want to contribute in any way to a meaningful debate?
