Another mass shooting

It clearly isn't rampant. There are approximately 1 man for every woman. If this problem was rampant there would be zero women by now. It happens infrequently on a per capita basis. These things don't have to happen and the problem isn't testosterone (girls like testosterone - they generally find males that physically manifest the developmental effects of testosterone to be more attractive), the problem is suffering and when those who suffer turn to taking out their frustrations on the world instead of killing themselves like the good little losers we think they should be.
Unrequited love is painful for normal people, and some people feel it more than others.
this isn't about "Unrequited love"

it's a horny idiot who just can't deal with it and hates girls. Of course, it's not normal and usual. I think we are all grateful it's unusual.

Once again I say this problem and many others could be dealt with Universal Health Care. Americans seem to be embarrassed about SOOOO many things. If we finally had a system where these problems could be addressed maybe these idiot Americans could finally get OVER it and admit some people need and deserve a little help.

That loon who shot up all those people in Vagas appears to be a conspiracy nut. Now, THERE'S a person who needed help.

Americans seem to have this idiotic romantic notion that 'going it alone' is way cool. Well, we - humans - happen to be pack animals and are much better off if we join with others to solve our problems.

You have some information that the rest of us haven't heard? Has he been going around just hating girls? Does he not find himself attracted to them? Or is he attracted to them but rejected by them? That seems to be what I've read seems to indicate, and rejection and physical pain are the same to your brain, so he was acting out against people who had caused him pain. We can all agree that this is not an appropriate way to deal with pain, but no-one gives a care about other people's pain so no-one even bothers to think that maybe they should help - well, if it's male pain - because, even women often complain that men hide their feelings, women just don't like having to deal with men's feelings - horny and angry being two of the big ones for young men. If it was women's feelings - well, we already knows that fat women and old women and ugly women are beautiful and deserve to be loved (presumably by men I guess) and we have trans women who complain it's abhorrent that men don't want to marry /sleep with them - so their feelings of rejection and inadequacy are clearly very important, and people not finding them attractive is a social problem that can be solved by spending lots of money on advertising.

Most people want to be loved and to have a lover - and a lot of people won't get what they want but they might just get what they need - but some people with physical or mental issues won't get anything and there is pain in that. We don't like to recognise that and that means we don't need to do anything about it.

If the emotional pain was that of a wife with an abusive partner then we would all support her when she shot him - that's what we do. We just assume that her pain is real. This young man, for whatever reason, felt his pain particularly acutely - he is probably mentally disabled in some way - he couldn't deal with his emotions - and we don't help people like that, we make fun of them instead, and that doesn't help them - but maybe we hope they'll kill themselves and spare us the bother of having to put up with them.

Nobody can undo what has been done and things will just have to go forward now to their conclusion - but we could learn a thing or two - or we won't. At least if we took away guns we could bully losers without too much consequence - so that would be better I guess.

..we could learn a thing or two - or we won't....

I know which I'd bet on.

At least if we took away guns we could bully losers without too much consequence ...

Interesting argument.
Alternatively we could ensure all children go to school with unconcealed, loaded weapons; no prominently displayed instrument of death, no entry to school.
No one would have to put up with bullying then.
Or something.
If we're continuing down the eccentric arguments against gun control route, it makes almost as much sense as tooling up the teachers.

I think there's a lot of truth to that statement right there. As a society, we're not particularly interested in actually helping people. We're interested in profiting off them. If they don't present opportunities for profits (through counselling, insurance or prosecution), we're interested in marginalizing them. But helping? Not so much.

From reports I've seen, it was certainly not as simple as common rejection from girls. He was routinely bullied and marginalized. The problem with our society is that heterosexual males, especially white heterosexual males, are not considered worthy of compassion. Bullying this group is accepted and often encouraged. He wasn't only rejected by girls he wanted to date, he was bullied and humiliated by classmates all the way up to teachers and coaches. Here you have a kid with possible mental deficiencies, forced by law to attend schools that humiliate him during his most formative years. Every school shooting I have read about has close to the same story. A boy is isolated, humiliated and bullied during all of middle and high school, and he snaps.

Public schools have become the worst institutions in this country. They are run by teachers who are mostly complete failures themselves in real life. School teachers make barely above minimum wage. It is a job of last resort for adults who failed at anything else they tried, something to fall back on. They are bitter and take their bitterness out on kids they are supposed to be building up. They get a perverse pleasure out of targeting certain kids with abuse and bullying. These kids have no option, the law requires them to attend K-12.

I have no compassion for someone who shoots up a school. I do think that scapegoating inanimate objects and failed SJW ideals do nothing other than make the situation worse. The same people wanting to blame "toxic masculinity" probably own a cherished Bluray of the movie 'The Burning Bed'. The same ones wanting to repeal the 2nd Amendment probably have watched dozens if not hundreds of movies with left wing actors shooting guns on the screen for half the movie.

If we're continuing down the eccentric arguments against gun control route,
It's not an argument against gun control, it's just an observation. Most of these shootings are suicide attempts - but the last few guys didn't get killed by the cops - so that may actually help dissuade people from trying to go out this way. Mind you, plenty of spree shooters have managed to save a round for themselves. If they couldn't hit back at the world while they suicide, they'd just have to settle for plain old suicide.

Remember how ISIS claimed responsibility for the Vegas shooting and most leftists had a good belly laugh?

Vegas Shooting Police Files Show 3 Women Were in Stephen Paddock’s Room, Girlfriend had ISIS ‘Friends’

In an additional bombshell revelation, LVMPD dispatch logs show documentation of ISIS activity on the Facebook page of one of Danley’s ‘friends.’

Those dispatch logs show that the night of the Las Vegas shooting, LVMPD knew that Danley had followers on Facebook who showed ISIS “beheading videos” on their Facebook pages. Whileindependent journalists were first to report that Danley deleted her Facebook page immediately following the Las Vegas shooting, it was later confirmed in January of 2018 when police search warrants were released.

It is also worth noting that immediately following the Las Vegas shooting, ISIS claimed responsibility, claiming Paddock was an ISIS terrorist who converted to Islam six months prior to the attack. Even after the FBI said ISIS wasn’t involved, ISIS has continued to take responsibility for the massacre nearly four times, and has even published ISIS propaganda since the shooting in which they promise to attack Vegas again.

Besides proving that the public has been mislead about Paddock being alone in his suite at Mandalay Bay, dispatch logs confirm that Sheriff Lombardo had knowledge of the accurate timeline and check in date, as well as the three women the public is just now learning about when he held his press conference the day after the shooting, where he appears to have intentionally given misinformation to the public.

Remember how ISIS claimed responsibility for the Vegas shooting and most leftists had a good belly laugh?

Now that it is out of the news cycle, the real story is slowly coming out, Guess what? The narrative that was spun was wrong at best, and there is something more sinister to the story at worst.

VIDEO: Las Vegas Police Waited in Stairs, Ordered To Turn Body Cameras Off During Shooting

She said the body camera footage from the 31st floor hallway shows a specific officer waiting there for minutes, which contradicts what a Mandalay Bay security manager told the FBI.

“This Mandalay Bay security manager told the FBI on nine separate occasions in his interviews that he was certain he was with this Officer Hendricks on the 32nd floor,” Lombardo said.

“We already knew that this Officer Hendricks was on the 31st floor, but it wasn’t until yesterday when all of that video was released that we finally got confirmation that something is wrong, something’s amiss,” she continued. “This whole thing, it’s only the tip of the iceberg. We’ve only scratched the surface.”

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers who responded to the Mandalay Bay shooting were ordered to turn their body cameras off before engaging with the shooting.

Something doesn't smell right here. Also, remember how we were told we were conspiracy crazies if we didn't believe the official narrative spun that there was no chance of him being tied to terrorist before the blood even dried and no investigation had occurred yet? From the same page...

Las Vegas Shooter’s Bank Account Had Been Seized for Terror-Financing

Five days after the Las Vegas shooting, police officials and the FBI were aware that one of Stephen Paddock’s bank accounts had been shut down over concerns it was connected to international terrorism.

On pages 85 and 86 of an official police report regarding the Oct. 1 massacre, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer Andre Bates, working with the Department of Homeland Security, wrote on Oct. 6 that investigators became aware of Paddock’s bank account being shut down on the basis of suspicion of terrorism.

Even when the bodies were still warm, LVMPD and the FBI were adamant Paddock was a lone wolf and the shooting was not an act of terrorism, a position they maintain to this day.

Immediately following the attack, ISIS claimed responsibility, saying Paddock was an ISIS soldier who converted to Islam six months prior.

One day after the shooting, before an investigation could be completed, Aaron Rouse, the Special Agent in charge of the FBI in Las Vegas, said in a press conference, “We have determined, to this point, no connection to an international terrorist group.”

Watch What the Broward School Board Does to Survivor Who Questions Them

Hunter Pollack lost his sister, Meadow, during the shooting. The school board refused to answer his questions in public. So another survivor, Kenneth Preston, went to get answers for him. With Andrew on the phone.

What happens next won’t surprise you in the slightest. Yet will still make you stabby.

There’re a lot of people outraged over a lot of things. Some of which is worth being outraged over. At the top of my list are 17 families who lost loved ones in the shooting. Yet not only is the incompetence of the local government to blame, you aren’t allowed to question those who are partially to blame. Plus no one in the national press seems interested because it all contradicts their anti-NRA agenda.

Remember, this board, the media, the left who hates guns because “of the children” doesn’t give two hoots about “the children” when their narrative is at stake. The proof is the video above.

If you want to get outraged over something, get outraged over this.

Last Week There Was A Mass Shooting At A Maryland Industrial Park But No One Seems To Care

The shooter was black. Right there any interest the gun controllers and the media had about this shooting began to dissipate.

The shooter was only a “she” because “she” identified as as “she.” The shooter was a black male transgender who was apparently undergoing hormone therapy.

There is no way any of the gun grabbers are going to show interest in this case because the victims are outside their sympathy demographic and they don’t want to deal with a racial element (black worker targeting immigrants), they definitely aren’t going to look at anything that makes transgender people look unstable or anything other than victims.

In short, though the gun grabbing movement is a political movement is is a movement based in wealthy, white sensibilities. All it is is a bunch of people who think they are better than anyone else trying to run other people’s lives. It is about power and it is about self-interest. They don’t really care about what happens to you and your kids, but they care a great deal about what happens to people like them.
