A clergyman of the New Johanne Masowe Sect told the court that he killed a church member thought to be a vampire in order to protect others.

Houston 911 operator who hung up on thousands of callers sentenced to 18 months probation
Williams’ misdeeds came to light after HEC officials performing routine monthly audits of 911 calls noticed a high volume of Williams’ calls lasted less than 20 seconds, known as “short calls.” In a news release detailing the sentencing, prosecutors said that a review of call records showed Williams hung up on “thousands” of short calls.
“She was going through a hard time in her life, and she was a poor performing worker at the Houston Emergency Center,” her lawyer said. “But punishing her doesn’t do anything to fix the problems that still exist at the emergency center.”

Police: Mom attacks officers helping mortally wounded toddler
Authorities say the mother attacked two police officers with a knife.
Police say officers used a stun gun to no avail before shooting the woman, who has been hospitalized.

Monickers so far have included "Masshole", "It's Draining Men" and "Sir Drains a Lot", according to the Houston Chronicle.
