Socialism / Communism, historical and now

Those super-rich are a big part of the problem - when wealth is so unevenly distributed, the only people to tax ARE the super-rich, and they can leave, but moreover, they feel that their wealth isolates them from the problems. They don't worry about water because they can buy it. They don't worry about joblessness because they won't ever need a job. They don't worry about public healthcare because they can always get a doctor, a nurse, a surgeon when they want one, and they can fly to the best doctors in any field.
If the income profile for the state were flatter then the majority of the population would pay the majority of the taxes and all of the tax payers would be in the same boat vis-a-vis everyday problems.
And it's not just taxes that come mostly from the rich - it's campaign contributions and when rich people are picking the candidates, it doesn't matter which party gets in - the only problems the government has any motivation to fix are the problems of the people who funded their election and, more importantly, their next election - they are there to fix rich people's problems.

The CA super rich are most certainly part of the problem. Companies with chumps like Jeff Bozos push Communism-like tactics on their employees.
while getting sweetheart deals on taxing in wherever they set up shop. Chumps like Jeff Bozos profit off the misery of their employees, yet Jeff Bozos is considered a "progressive" hero for his Communist ways.

Found it. There is Irony here considering it is Bernie Sanders promoting this video.

Will just post AoC stuff here too now.

Ocasio-Cortez Is Under Fire From Big Labor Over Green New Deal

“We welcome the call for labor rights and dialogue with labor, but the Green New Deal resolution is far too short on specific solutions that speak to the jobs of our members and the critical sections of our economy,” the letter, signed by 10 national labor unions on the AFL-CIO’s energy committee, says.

“We will not accept proposals that could cause immediate harm to millions of our members and their families,” the letter says. “We will not stand by and allow threats to our members’ jobs and their families’ standard of living go unanswered.”

Funny how the unions are suddenly abandoning the Democrat Party. I'm not generally a fan of unions, but this could get interesting. I guess Communism is too much for even the unions.

Speaking of Cuba... Watch the first 2 minutes of this video. Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer drummer, founding member) was born in Cuba in 1965 and came to the US at 2 years old.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez & Top Aide Quietly Removed From Board Of PAC That Got Her Elected

The socialist superhero won her district and immediately blazed a trail toward banishing airplanes and skirmishing with cow farts.

Another blight on her record thus far — or, should I say, thus fart? — is her seemingly dicey relationship with campaign regulations. Like hereand here.

Very quietly, AOC and her top aide have been removed from the Justice Democrats’ board — the very organization that propelled her to congressional heights.

Senate Votes Down Green New Deal Resolution 0-57

The Senate voted down on Tuesday S.J. Res. 8, the Green New Deal Resolution, 0-57, with all Republicans, three Democrats, and one Independent voting against it.

Forty-three Democrats voted “present” and three Democrats — Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), and Doug Jones (D-AL) — voted against the resolution. Sen. Angus King (I-ME) also voted with Republicans against the measure.

Socialism: Belgium Psych Wards Are Now Euthanizing Mentally Ill Patients…

The Belgian branch of the Brothers of Charity, also called the Brothers of Love, issued a statement Tuesday that they will continue offering euthanasia in each of their 15 psychiatric hospitals, despite receiving orders from the Vatican to reverse their euthanasia policy by the end of August, according to Crux Now.

The Belgian branch’s current policy allows for doctors to euthanize non-terminal mentally ill patients upon request, so long as the doctor determines that the patient’s suffering is “unbearable” and that there is no reasonable chance of improvement with treatment. Belgian law has no definition of unbearable suffering, however, which opens the door for mentally ill patients with a chance of improvement being euthanized instead, according to Professor Raphael Cohen-Almagor, Chair of Politics at England’s Hull University.

Regardless of potential loopholes in Belgian law, the Catechism of the Catholic Church remains clearly, opposed to euthanasia as evidenced in paragraph 2277, which states:

“Whatever its motives and means, direct euthanasia consists in putting an end to the lives of handicapped, sick, or dying persons. It is morally unacceptable.”

Tempting, isn't it. Think of all the SJWs that have unbearable suffering just because Trump is president or they have to sit an exam in a "white colonised" subject.
