Joe Rogan Makes Last Minute Endorsement of Donald Trump

In case the preview is broken. Elon did a nearly 3 hour Joe Rogan podcast, which Rogan tweeted out. In that Tweet Rogan officially endorsed Trump. The Liberal Media has been pretending Rogan's a dyed in the wool fringe right winger.

This is ignoring that in the 2020 election he was a Bernie Bro.
This is also ignoring that in the 2016 election he endorsed Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.
Finally it is ignoring that as recently as earlier this year, he was stating to not be a fan of Trump.

As for Elon, AFAIK this is his very first presidential endorsement. I've heard part of this podcast and he makes some good but obvious points. If the unelected empty suit candidate who can't talk puppet Harris is elected, the country will go from a 2 party system to a 1 party system. That is obvious and I dare anyone here to dispute it. I've been banging that drum for how many years now? Shame people like Rogan and Musk are slow learners.

The Guardian have bailed from Twitter too but their explanation comes across as a bit sour grapesy to me. "Big bad Trump won so we're taking our ball and going home."
Is Twitter a far worse cesspit of bigotry now than it was before Musk took over? Without a doubt.
Is that, as they claim, why the Guardian left? Nah, otherwise they would have left months, if not years ago. They're full of bollox in my opinion.

I go on Threads from time to time but still use Twitter most days as, despite the crackpots and bigots, it works better for me.
Never tried Bluesky or Mastodon and they don't really appeal as they seem to positioning themselves as "safe spaces for the left". I have little to no interest in such ostensibly boring forums. I do, perhaps weirdly, have accounts on a few "right-wing" ones, notably Gab and Truth Social (although I think the big Wotsit has barred me from that last one, despite never having posted :D ). I haven't been on either for a while but the last time I looked, they were both crackpot echo-chambers, full of Q-pish, Jesus, chem-trails and racism, often all in the same post. Of course, there's plenty of that on Twitter too but at least on Twitter I can find mundane, normal posts of interest amongst to vitriol. The other thing about Twitter is that a lot of the lefty nutcases are still on there too. Some of them are almost as mental as the q-nutters.

-EDIT-
Well, that didn't take very long!
Directly after I wrote this, I went to desktop Twitter and have been logged out and can't log back in with my preferred browser. The home page is in a weird redirect loop. It was working fine about an hour ago so feck knows what he's done now. It still works on Chrome and my 'phone but if I can't use the desktop version on Brave maybe I'll bail too.

24 hrs later and Twitter is still not working on my preferred browser so, despite my previous disdainful comment, I signed up to Bluesky. What a snivelling hypocrite I am.

On the bright side, Bluesky works fine on Brave desktop, whereas Twitter is still in a goosed infinite loop of data-slurping incompetence.
