Darn Protesters

"Their" demands?

From the very first line:

Must try harder, sir. ;-)

A single user can put out demands and it gets attention in a situation where there is no leadership and no clear vision. What good is a movement if all they do is make themselves look like idiots for the camera?

A single user can put out demands...

It's nothing more than a forum post.
That you are so keen to see it elevated to a position where you can attack the strawman says more about you than OWS.

You tell me. You're the one who got all fired up about the tea baggers before they had a leader.

On the other hand, I have never claimed this movement is "good" and can't honestly say I've made my mind up.Too busy just now to do the research.
(Although I have to confess that, despite not having time to check it out properly, the very fact that Whyzzat's resident, corporate cheerleaders are so firmly unified against it has my Spidey-sense twitching wildly.)

That's funny, I have not heard a single person or news outlet use that analogy. Wanna point out where you think I got it from?
Wow. You are the first person you know to make the "Kool-Aid" analogy!!! Really? Do you go outside much? Ever owned a TV? Don't be a twat. "Drunk the Kool-Aid" IS a JonesTown reference and it does not suddenly make you clever if someone says that the OWS have drunk the Kool-Aid to go backwards and then say - hey, that's JamesTown!! That is where you are SUPPOSED to go in your mind when you hear the reference. Duh! That is what makes "Drunk the Kool-Aid" a slur.

But, anyway, maybe you'd like these guy's web site. (registrants hiding behind bluehost).

@metalman,

I KNOW it's a Bugs Bunny reference, but I asked you to explain why you said it. What were you trying to say when you made that allusion?

Canadians know Bugs Bunny references!?! Who knew?
Thought Canadians spent Saturday mornings watching curling league highlights and Zamboni maintenance tips.

Yep, and when we're done that we rebuild our igloos and then take our dog sled through the blizzard and then put on our snow shoes and make more maple syrup for our American masters down South (at least know geography). That's aboot it.

Here's what I want:
the banks that got balled out (so they could 'allegedly' make loans to all the little people and then turned around and DIDN'T)...I want those bastards to go to jail.
the people that let madoff rip off people....I want THEM to go to jail
I want the koch bros to go to jail.

and everyone that has stolen taxpayer money should go to jail and have their ill-gotten gains distributed among the rest of us

maybe jail is too nice...maybe hanging would be better.

mmmmmmmm Maple syrup!

When is is annual baby seal clubbing? and what beer logo do Canadians prefer on their seal clubs?

OK, then I shall just have to interpret it for myself.

So, bugs ends up in the wrong place because he should have turned left at Albuquerque.

Hey, thanks metalman.

I want those bastards to go to jail.
But not private jails because then they'd just be paying themselves public money to keep themselves locked up.
maybe hanging would be better.
Well, it's cheaper but I can't sanction killings by the state. Mob justice, on the other hand ...

When is is annual baby seal clubbing?
Oh come on now metalman, you know that's a sensitive subject with us Canadians. We avoid talking about it in public just like you Americans refrain from discussing DU dust, white phosphorous and air strikes on wedding parties.

and what beer logo do Canadians prefer on their seal clubs?
You'll have to ask Stephen Harper that one, but it's probably Budweiser or some other redneck beer.

I'm actually surprised how easy that was, for the most part. There were about two that surprised me but most of them were pretty obvious. One thing was that many of the Tea Party ones were more professionally or sympathetically composed and OWS signs were generally more humerous but the big give away was counting the non-whites, which I wasn't actually expecting - I honestly thought it would be more even.

"air strikes on wedding party" "air strikes on double wedding party" and "air strikes on birthday party" stories all stopped in 2009, probably because they haven't had any parties since then.

damn, I was betting it was Labatt

Hey, thanks metalman.

you ALWAYS go to the left, you'll take three lefts just to avoid a right
