They shouldn't have, but they did. They published entirely Fake News, and it was no accident.
It's looking like not just some details were faked, the entire incident itself may be fake.
Police Reviewed Hundreds of Hours of Video and Found No Footage of Alleged Attack on Jussie Smollett
Chicago police say they’ve reviewed hundreds of hours of footage from downtown surveillance cameras but haven’t found footage yet of the alleged attack on “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett.
The department said in a news release late Tuesday that detectives reviewed footage from privately-owned cameras near where Smollett says he was attacked and will broaden their search by reviewing footage from traffic cameras and public bus cameras.
2 men -- white and wearing ski masks walk around Chicago at 2am in 15 degree weather carrying a bottle of bleach and a noose on the off-chance they might run across one of the actors in the hip-hop soap opera drama "Empire, then loop the noose around his neck, poor bleach on him, and then run off yelling, "Aren't you that f***ot 'Empire' n*****?" "This is MAGA country."
File this under "HOAX"

Daily Beast: New England Patriots ‘Preferred Team of White Nationalists’
I've heard this thrown around before. Are the media outlets just being trolled by 4chan or something? I mean, really? Patriots = Nationalists? They've obviously never even spoken with anyone who has watched sports. It's almost a universal truth that the Pats are pretty much loathed everywhere outside the northeast tip of the country.

I don't know about you, but I don't know of a single person who grew up or lives west of Massachusetts who would admit to being a Pats fan.
There are a few people around here who like Brady, but that's understandable, since he went to Michigan. (Granted, he never had a chance to do much useful here, but hey... We have less hatred for him than the rest of the nation does.)
I do know a couple people who are big Patriots fans. It's a unique situation though since I am in South Florida. While I am a native Floridian, I am in the minority. A majority of the people down here are transplants, with a good portion coming from the north east.
