The Diamond Princess has been in quarantine in Japan since Feb 3rd, after the coronavirus was detected in a passenger who got off the ship
in Hong Kong. 3711 passengers and crew on the ship.

39 more coronavirus cases on Japan cruise ship; tally now at 174

174 confirmed coronavirus cases out of 492 passengers tested, so far
4 passengers are currently hospitalized in critical condition

if there are now 174 out of 3711 people identified as infected on day 8 of quarantine, that’s around 4.7% of the passengers.
Wuhan is a city of 11 million people. 4.7% of 11 million is around 520,000 likely infected.
this makes much more likely the suspicion that the CCP is significantly under reporting the numbers in Wuhan
 
BREAKING: Number Of Chinese Confirmed Cases & Deaths From Coronavirus revised upwards

15,000 new cases and 242 new deaths from the virus were reported from Hubei province after health officials broadened the types of cases that they will now include in their count.
The reason for the sharp increase is because Hubei province is now including clinically diagnosed cases in the number of confirmed cases. This means those cases are not laboratory confirmed. They say other provinces are now doing the same.

The dramatic jump in cases essentially confirms suspicions that China has been vastly under counting cases of coronavirus.

China's National Health Commission has not released the daily 8 a.m. update. ( Beijing UTC+08:00 )
