Robert's a right-wing fascist? I guess I missed that memo.Is this is what the American left has become? They get warm fuzzies about child molesters?
Members of this very site (left leaning) agree with this IIRC. There was article some time ago about making pedophilia a disability so child molesters could get free money (disability).

Become a monster and diddle little kids so you never have to work again. I guess.. The American left has been embracing child molesters and child rapists for years (Michael Jackson, Roman Polanski).
It is called perversion. We have to stop coddling evil behavior. If you don't like the term evil, insert other term.
I happen to like voluptuous brunettes in short skirts and knee high stiletto boots, what do you call that? I guess by your reckoning I'm suffering from some kind of perversion, perhaps a few hail mary's, a shot of holy water and a good dose of church will cure me.
Treating it as an illness is a perfectly valid and reasoned view of the issue, how you go about treating it was not iirc ever discussed due to your demands that anything less than total agreement your view was acceptable.
It was precisely because of smears like this that the previous thread got nowhere.
Applying that to all of "the American left" without qualifiers was also part of the problem.
red... do you believe in god? and im not asking that in a way to mock your faith at all, as i consider myself a barrabas of sorts as the jury is still out with me, i need more facts... but i'm curious if you are a man of faith because i would offer this in another light...

I'd agree you seem to be the most balanced of the right-wingers here so probably can reduce the hate some. This is Whyzzat you know. It is mostly a one sided hate-fest. I just provide a tiny bit of balance
That got your attention, eh? Why is it that sweeping generalizations about republicans or conservatives don't bother you?

sound familiar?“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they’re sure trying to do so, it’s going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can’t and won’t compromise. I know, I’ve tried to deal with them.”
~Barry Goldwater
“Everyone knows that gays have served honorably in the military since at least the time of Julius Caesar.”
~Barry Goldwater
“It’s time America realized that there is no gay exemption in the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in the Declaration of Independence.”
~Barry Goldwater
“You don’t need to be straight to fight and die for your country. You just need to shoot straight.”
~Barry Goldwater
“Today’s so-called ‘conservatives’ don’t even know what the word means. They think I’ve turned liberal because I believe a woman has a right to an abortion. That’s a decision that’s up to the pregnant woman, not up to the pope or some do-gooders or the Religious Right. It’s not a conservative issue at all.”
~Barry Goldwater
“When you say “radical right” today, I think of these moneymaking ventures by fellows like Pat Robertson and others who are trying to take the Republican Party and make a religious organization out of it. If that ever happens, kiss politics goodbye.” In response to Moral Majority founder Jerry Falwell’s opposition to the nomination of Sandra Day O’Connor to the Supreme Court, of which Falwell had said, “Every good Christian should be concerned”, Goldwater retorted: “Every good Christian ought to kick Falwell right in the ass.”
I've never been a democrat or have ANY political party affiliation. That said, i have always respected Eisenhower and Goldwater - even when i didn't agree with particular issues. At least they were reasonable people
Mr Conservative, Barry Goldwater, understood the dangers of the Religious Right
