oil or coal. It's irrelevant. Coal is arguably more polluting but both industries are putting carbon into the atmosphere that has not been there for hundreds of millions of years.
Partly because the propaganda is thick on both sides - but mostly because the propaganda does not change the facts. The facts are that the climate IS sensitive to CO2 (and methane and water vapour, both of which are rising because of positive feedbacks from rising temperature and we are pretty much powerless to push back on those things) and we are putting a lot of CO2 into the atmosphere that cannot be absorbed into carbon sinks in anything like mere tens of thousands of years, but that is something we CAN do something about.
A lot of the energy we use, we do not NEED to use to maintain a decent lifestyle if we increase efficiencies (but we won't unless the cost of energy is pushed up to reflect the environmental debt we are accruing) and we don't NEED to use fossil fuels for energy - we have non CO2 alternatives.
However, oil and coal companies have lots of money but also lots of profit to lose, know how to buy politicians (and create FUD) and sell themselves as a strategic part of the economy since the US has spent a lot of time working on gaining control of the flow of oil and gas in particular around the planet and preventing alternatives from encroaching on its share. Any time you put a waste product into the environment faster than nature can degrade or absorb it, it will build up and there will be a future bill to pay. Just as with any debt, that fun you have with the credit card now, will cost you more in the future than what you get out of it now.

I've demonstrated countless obvious propaganda pieces exposing the AGW scam, but i cannot think of where you have ever demonstrated obvious propaganda exposing that AGW is genuine.

Not the best way to state it I suppose. I've shown clear examples of propaganda being used to promote the AGW scam. The propaganda is very clear, except to those fully indoctrinated into the cult of AGW.
What I've meant to say was you have not shown demonstrable examples of propaganda by those people / groups who oppose AGW. You often suggest groups like Big Oil companies, Big Coal companies spread propaganda, but I've not seen any concrete examples, only vague suggestions.

Here's the sea ice concentration map for today. The orange line is the median ice extent from 1981 to 2010. Notice that current extent is significantly less than that line - and that Svalbard is outside of that line, but by a stroke of bad luck there is ice near Svalbard. The ice does blow around quite a bit up there, especially when it is broken up, and it can move pretty quickly to trap a ship, especially near land where it can pile up and get thick.

As to examples of the propaganda, I think it would be hard to find a better start than the Union of Concerned Scientists who have a page outlining the main players and a page describing the playbook with examples of the plays drawn from many fields including climate science.

There are plenty of people who think that the chance to save the planet has already past. The actual end of everything is still in the future, possibly decades, but we have already past the point were we are technologically able to stop the processes we have started. There is considerable lag in the temperature and even if we stopped CO2 output (not cut back but completely stopped using fossil fuels and went strictly neutral, the warming will still go on for a century or more. The world won't suddenly end on any given day - it will just get progressively more ghastly until it kills you, and it won't be everywhere all at once.
It may just be heatstroke during a particularly bad week and the power goes down from air-con overload, or it could be a bad storm, collapsing your house on top of you which then pins you down as the flood water rises to an inch above your face for a couple of hours. It could be death in a food riot as you scabble to get your share, or later when it turns out that was the last share available for months, or maybe by hordes of desperate migrants fleeing untenable conditions further south trying to steal enough as they pass through that they can keep their families alive.

But, so you get a flood. The rain stops at some point, the water goes down. Everything will be back to normal, no harm. right?
The US got a bit wet too - corn crops are down a bit. No biggie - this time, but over time, small failures add up and the population of the planet is still growing. If food production doesn't keep up growth will stop - whether we want it to or not.

We've covered this group before, multiple times. All throughout human history there have been cycles of floods, droughts, and "normal". The Mayans were one of the largest and complex civilizations ever, and they were wiped out due to a very long prolonged drought, or 1,000 years ago. The pyramids of Egypt were built at a time the region was a tropical humid climate. The Dust Bowl was nearly a century ago. Etc, etc.

Humans cannot control weather or natural disasters. No, I do not think we should be as arrogant enough to think we can reverse the natural order of the world. The idea of nuking hurricanes has been around as long as nukes. That would be an awful idea. In the 70s the "settled science" was we should have dusted the polar icecaps with black coal dust to melt the ice caps and stave off the impending ice age. How would that look under today's AGW hysterical eyes, or even normies eyes? Under current technology there is no way we'd have the energy, let alone the understand, to make any positive impact. We probably will never have the energy required, as it would be the energy of a star, just like light speed travel.
Strawman. I've said a thousand times I have no issue with "green" technologies, as long as they are viable.LED lighting is approaching that viability, or it is already here in many applications. Wind mills? No, they do little more than kill birds and decimate natural habitats of countless species. Advancing "green" technologies in and of itself is not the problem. The problem is that's not the goal of the AGW cult. That goal is Global Communism and total control of the populace.
