You shouldn't worry too much about them. From the article it looks like XR are trying to become more "diverse". No organisation can survive taking that pill. the in-fighting will utterly neutralise them.

They're already well down that road with some of their absurd and counter-productive nonsense in London over the last few weeks. They'll be known as Extinct Rebellion soon, I should think.

I'm not worried about them. They are clearly doing major damage to their movement. Pro-AGW people would be forgiven for conspiracy theories about this being funded by big oil, or some nonsense. They are obnoxiously ridiculous.

The fact this is a real movement to me shows we've reached peak hysteria. Hopefully this, and the fact the earth won't end in 8 years, will reign things in. would be nice if people start looking at who is funding the hoax.

Greenland is losing ice seven times faster than it was in the 1990s.

The assessment comes from an international team of polar scientists who've reviewed all the satellite observations over a 26-year period.

They say Greenland's contribution to sea-level rise is currently tracking what had been regarded as a pessimistic projection of the future.

It means an additional 7cm of ocean rise could now be expected by the end of the century from Greenland alone.
