Riot in London last night

Wow. Maybe the London police should just keep shooting until the riots stop.

Shooting with what? UK force is for the most part unarmed. Also they'd never be able to justify the use of lethal force against public disorder.

No tear gas, no water canon or baton rounds either.

Because that is called democracy.
The next thing you know if you do that, the protesters will be "mostly unarmed".

Rumours circulating that Manchester might be next to go up in smoke.

Well, I did put too much of that Dragon's Blood naga jolokia sauce in my iftaar (end of fast) meal last night but so far nothing ignited...

Did someone let the rage virus loose or something?

You'd think that, but no. Just lots of pent up resentment by large numbers of the social underclass letting loose like a chain reaction.

Turns out if you have sweet fa to your name and minimal risk of any real punishment, as well as a golden opportunity to smash, steal and plunder your weasely black guts out, you will.

Bonus points if you get the film reference.

No tear gas or water canon? Hmmm... Maybe they should lift the ban on Asbestos if this keeps up, otherwise London 2012 might look a lot like London 1944.

Apparently there is some rioting in Wolverhampton now.

Definitely sounds like a Jack Sparrow quote, but I can't think which particular movie...

Yeesh - just in from work and stuck the goggle box on News24. Widespread wanton vandalism.

Ealing shopping centre just bought it.

Rumours of gatherings in Southampton Leeds and Sheffield.
