No, the reason I asked is because I was starting to get the feeling that some mistrust ONLY the US government, to the point where they will trust any enemy of the US. I don't trust the US, but I don't trust Russia and a great number of other governments. I think if every time something nasty happens we point our fingers at the US, that will only provide cover for the other nasty players.

If you mean in the world at large, well of course there are some, just like there are some of just about every other variety of nutcase you care to mention so again, I'd say it's moot.

For pretty much the same reason that Canada pretty much has to go along with the US - except more so, because Russia controls the oil(and gas) spigots.

Perhaps, but the bear is infested with rabies too. Personally, I see no reason at all to trust the highly authoritarian Russia. Say what you want about the US, but Russia is just as bad or worse on every level.

So was this fracturing of NATO part of the US plan as well? Or was this just an oopsie by the geniuses at the Pentagon?
