Has Q chucked it?

how pathetic
The headline and the story disagree. Perhaps the headline is ... a lie?

how pathetic
She doesn't quite admit to making it up, merely that she "got it wrong" but yes, that's still pretty dreadful.
“Reports are the woman trampled by a Canadian horse patrol just died at the hospital.”
Inflammatory nonsense that was unsurprisingly amplified by the usual suspects and could have gone in the old Fake News thread.

A few possibilities but nothing conclusive that I know about. Fred Brennan (8chan creator) thought the initial Qdrops were by one or more trolls, then by Paul Furber. The Watkins lads seem to have taken over after the Q posts moved from 4chan to 8chan
Paul Furber being responsible for the early Q drops before being taken over by Watkins gets a further boost with this research.
Sleuths hunting for the writer behind Q have increasingly overlooked Mr. Furber and focused their speculation on another QAnon booster: Ron Watkins, who operated a website where the Q messages began appearing in 2018 and is now running for Congress in Arizona. And the scientists say they found evidence to back up those suspicions as well. Mr. Watkins appears to have taken over from Mr. Furber at the beginning of 2018. Both deny writing as Q.

The studies provide the first empirical evidence of who invented the toxic QAnon myth, and the scientists who conducted the studies said they hoped that unmasking the creators might weaken its hold over QAnon followers. Some polls indicate that millions of people still believe that Q is a top military insider whose messages have revealed that former President Trump will save the world from a cabal of “deep state” Democratic pedophiles.

Neither team ruled out the possibility that other writers had contributed to Q’s thousands of messages, especially during what appears to have been a period of collaboration between Mr. Furber and Mr. Watkins around late 2017.

“At first most of the text is by Furber,” said Mr. Cafiero, who works at the French National Center for Scientific Research. “But the signature of Ron Watkins increased during the first few months as Paul Furber decreased and then dropped completely.”

One of my Q loving acquaintances posted some ridiculous meme on FB yesterday that the internet was going to be down on 22022022.
She's been posting all day, seemingly oblivious to yet another idiotic prediction.
If I didn't know her personally I'd think she was a Tatiana McGrath type invention. :D

In America it's 02/22/2022.

Indeed, something that would almost certainly mean Q would never attach any significance to such a date.

But pointing out flaws in their logic is about as useful as pointing out missed predictions. Do so directly and you will be dismissed as one of the "sheeple":

Similarly, in European date format 9.11 is November 9th, the anniversary of the German Republic (1918), the Beer Hall Putsch (1923) and Kristallnacht (1938)

Numerology is a rampant subset of Qanon and I've seen all of the above referenced at some point.
Here's another 22222 one from today. Note this isn't Biden but rather a fake Biden:

The account you are quoting is literally called "Pepe Lives Matter". "Pepe" is the universal symbol for anonymous shitposters, I hope you know. That's a LOLcow account.
Here's another one from Pepe. Somewhat ironically, he's talking about trolling:

-EDIT-
As an aside, anyone signed up to Trump's Truth Social yet? It's still unavailable to UK IP dresses and I don't care enough to use a VPN.

Again must I point out that account's name? It's a LOLcow account.
And again must I point out that even if it is, it makes no material difference if people listening to him believe every word?

Aside from that, I think you're mistaken and reading far too much into the name of the messenger whilst completely ignoring the message. Where are the LOLs in the above post? He's talking about trolling and appears to be quite serious, as he almost always is. Why does something so dull and mundane get 1.5k likes when there's nothing funny if it's just for LOLs?

Do you remember the dying years of Moobunny? Remember the nonsense that used to get posted there? A handful of people, at least 2 but probably a few more, would constantly sh1tpost with proxies there for the lolz. Some of it was done in a somewhat serious tone. It seemed some regulars knew what was going on, while others thought it was completely serious.

Now move that thought from a dying backwater forum frequented by dozens, to a global social media behemoth frequented by billions. There are people who get their rocks off making weak minded people believe ridiculous things.

I've mentioned it before but will mention again. I remember in the mid to late 1990s there was a forum for the main flat earth society people. I visited the site a few times out of morbid curiosity. What I found was the majority of posts were done in a way that they seemed to be winking at each other. It was pretty clear they were there for a laugh. Apparently they did get some sort of following, so at this point I have no idea how many are in on the joke and how many are truly without functioning braincells. At the core there has to be mostly the same ones just doing it for the LOLz. I don't get it as I don't do it, but the internet, and especially social media, with potential of anonymity, has people acting in weird ways.

Oh yes, what a hoot! And I take your point but this is acorns to oak trees by comparison. I never knew anyone personally whose obsession with Moobunny meant they alienated decades old friends and family members. With Qanon I know several who've done just that.
And as far as I know there weren't a significant number of people with Moobunny T-shirts and expressed beliefs breaking into the capitol. It's a completely different animal and the fact that it hoovered up the flat earth stuff you mention just emphasises it. Flat earth was started for a laugh and I'm pretty sure the first Q posts were too. Doesn't mean both haven't caused misery - remember the late flat earth nutter in the steam powered rocket?

Acorn to oak tree is what I was alluding to when I mentioned userbase of dozens going to literal billions. A small near dead forum compared to one of the largest modern social media companies in the world is stark. Everything gets amplified exponentially. The endorphins produced by working up a half dozens marks is extremely dwarfed by working up millions. Maybe surprisingly, I do not know a single person balls deep into Q stuff. You know I don't follow it myself, you follow it much more closely myself. What became Q I only know about from Whyzzat, mainly you. The media narrative is conservatives are the only ones into it, but I don't know a single person and I have plenty of conservatives in my circle of friends, probably a small majority. Would any of the estranged friends match the media's narrative of an American conservative? Breaking into the capital I'd rather not delve deep here. That's a rabbit hole that we all probably don't want to bother with. My only angle is the media narrative of it being worse than the Civil War and WWII combined is ridiculous. Flat earther steam powered rocket is what opened my eyes to some people really believing this horse diarrhea in the 21st century.

I'm not a historian on Q, but I do know it grew out of the Pizzagate movement. The early people in the Pizzagate movement were deadly serious and much of what they pointed out is known fact at this point, just doesn't make the 24/7 news cycle. Look at where Prince Andrew is these days and the Hunter B1den sex tapes with preteen Chinese girls out there (no, don't really look), of Joe B1den's daughter's diary the FBI raided illegally to recover. At some point another element moved in and co-opted it. The people who coined the term don't use it any longer and the media made the term a laughing stock to normies. By now you know me. I suspect a lot of what became Q is purposeful misinformation by plants. Then as you mentioned they sucked in the flat earthers which further delegitimatized the movement (which includes Pizzagate) and other LOLcows, just makes it a complete circus at this point. Only a portion of the weakest minded of the population falls for the current nonsense. Serious people long moved on.

This analogy just came to me, it may or may not land. The US had a huge resurgence in UFO interest about 70 years ago. The US literally imposed a policy of ridiculing and ostracizing anyone who reported UFOs. Project Blue Book itself was set up to "debunk" at all costs any sightings. At this point with the freedom of information act and a general relaxing of old policies, we know this is all true. It's documented history. I'm not going on a soap box here about UFOs, just pointing out that if gov could infiltrate and control a narrative long before the internet, there's no conspiracy theory to say they are probably doing the exact same thing today.

The majority of Q followers I know are not traditionally conservative. In fact only one of them is and she's been a bit mental for years. The rest all had some connections to areas traditionally sen as lefty-airy-fairy stuff like reiki, alternative medicines, wellness, etc. They're all pretty "right" now though, if that even means anything anymore.

For some reason I was reminded of this (from a simpler time - back in 1976).

Jasper is one of my comedy heroes. Vastly underrated and incredibly funny man.*

The Liberal Media in the US lies so routinely and so poorly that people look to and often believe bad propaganda.
I suppose that makes sense in some respects but doesn't really explain Qanon, unless your argument is that the media claiming something false is a good reason to believe Tom Hanks and Hillary Clinton are Adrenochrome-guzzling eaters of live children.

They also claim that Hillary Clinton and former aide Huma Abedin were caught on tape ripping off a child’s face, wearing it as a mask, and drinking the child’s blood to obtain adrenochrome. (Yes, really.)
