Has Q chucked it?

Tom Hanks? That's ridiculous!
Ridiculous? Well, yes, the entire movement is ridiculous. And Hanks isn't even that fringe for the anons. Popular enough for Reuters to feel the need to debunk some of it:

Fact Check-False news article about Tom Hanks

By Reuters Fact Check

Users are sharing an article that falsely claims actor Tom Hanks was executed by the U.S. military. The claim stems from a website repeatedly debunked by Reuters.
An example can be seen here .
The posts share a link to an article published on RealRawNews.com (here ) on July 27, 2021, where the first two paragraphs read: “Actor Tom Hanks has left the earth, put to death by a military tribunal that found him guilty of pedophilia and child endangerment. On June 12, the U.S. military apprehended Hanks after a plane he had chartered in Greece, where he holds dual citizenship, landed at Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy, where Hanks had been scheduled to attend a foreign film festival.”

The article seems to allude to the QAnon conspiracy theory, adherents of which have been scouring anonymous web postings from a figure named “Q” (who claims to be a government insider with top secret security clearance) and parsing statements by former U.S. President Donald Trump, whom they believed to be their champion secretly fighting a cabal of child-sex predators that includes prominent Democrats, Hollywood elites and “deep state” allies (here).

There have been a few accusations against Tom Hanks. The only one I've heard that gave me any pause was Isaac Kappy.

Isaac Kappy (Wikipedia)

Kappy appeared as a guest on Alex Jones' radio show InfoWars in August 2018, on which he accused multiple movie stars of pedophilia as part of the QAnon conspiracy theory, which involves a cabal of Satan-worshipping child molesters who run a global child sex-trafficking ring.[5] During the broadcast, Jones asked Kappy to be more circumspect and avoid "getting into names", while Kappy briefly insisted Jones was "gaslighting" him by querying his claims.[6] In early January 2021, American lawyer and conspiracy theorist Lin Wood alluded to QAnon when he tweeted without evidence that Kappy had been involved in a wide-ranging attempt to reveal a massive child sexual abuse ring involving Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court John Roberts.[7][8]

-snip-

In 2019, Kappy committed suicide by jumping from a bridge into oncoming traffic in Arizona. Before his death, Kappy posted a lengthy note on his Instagram account, in which he opened up about his drug and alcohol abuse, and apologized to Jesus Christ, Donald Trump, and QAnon. The post was captioned, "Beware the man that has nothing to lose, for he has nothing to protect".[1][2][3][11]

Of course there are many who believe he didn't commit suicide, rather Tom Hanks had him whacked. This page is partially lucid, and partially out there.

How do we get from a few cranks, trolls and grifters to millions of believers? Well, this type of thing probably plays at least some part:
It has a whiff of its own "Anon" about it. Clearly an opinion piece yet oddly evidence free - since I guess "everyone knows" so no evidence needed. Meanwhile the specially selected news remains impartial as it always has been.

That's the trouble with opinion pieces, they're often light on evidence and heavy on opinion. OTOH, I've not hard many better explanations which is why I said it *probably* plays a part. I don't think it's anything like the whole explanation but seems entirely plausible as a factor in some of what's gone on over the last 4 or 5 years.

Trump is all about the optics now, apparently.

the US is so screwed

Been meaning to post this for a while but real life has been stubbornly in the way recently.
The transcript of the FBI interview with Doug Jensen is fascinating and absolutely dripping in Q-nuttery. He's the guy in the Q jumper who led the of chase of the Capitol guard up the stairs.

I can't find a way to link directly to the transcript but it's embedded in this page:

It's a long interview from when he handed himself in, and some of it is absolutely wild. A couple of snippets:
Q always told us that when he says, 'my fellow Americans,' the storm is here, that's when we're supposed to go, that's when we're supposed to do anything. Well, he started off that speech a couple weeks ago with 'my fellow Americans.' That's all he had to do.
Asked by an agent if he had any regrets about being part of the crowd in the Capitol:
I don't know. It depends on if the outcome I wanted happens, then it would have been worth it. But if nothing happens except for negativity from this, and I'm a rioter, then, yeah, I completely regret it ...
There's heaps more in the transcript. The way the FBI interviewers just keep going with "mmhmm?" and "ok" cracked me up too for some reason. Having said all that, I can't help but feel a little sorry for him and the millions of other gullible buffoons around the world who believe this nonsense.

The aren't the right, we don't accept them. Assuming this isn't staged that is, that bottom left photo gives me pause. Trump as Jesus? Umm...
Be sure to tell that to tucker "dumb-resting-face" Carlton because he's been pushing that stupid replacement theory hundreds of times on his dumb show as well as every other dumb Q position.

You can certainly claim you don't believe any of that but the voices are reasonable republicans are not being heard. The only noise is coming from nuts and kooks

Believe me, I'd much prefer people be talking about what Shep Smith reported than what some insane wacko mentioned the night before which resulted in an act of violence in Buffalo, NYS
