When the "isolated events" are all happening at the same time more often - that's a problem no matter what you think the cause is. It would be nice to think that only the "let's do nothing" crowd starves when the crops fail but the universe doesn't dispense justice.

The fact that the climate is changing is barely even argued against these days (except by the same sorts of people who continue to believe the earth is flat or that creation beats evolution - because else they might have no soul and just be dead forever when they die) - the goal posts have been moved to "is it natural".

If the Titanic is sinking because the iceberg is "natural" or because man is not as smart as he thinks himself to be could be a matter for strenuous debate among the crew and passengers, but trying to make optimal and timely use of the lifeboats might be a more pressing consideration.

Imagine that all of this is natural - that the sun is getting hotter, that CO2 is from volcanoes, etc etc - how much are you willing to spend so that your children (and their children) don't die of famine in the coming decades? Whatever that amount is, shouldn't it be roughly the same if it actually IS humans contributing significantly to the problem?

People who don't understand evolution and our dependence on the ecosystem for our food like to say "we'll adapt" but "adapt" in evolutionary terms is not assured and is facilitated by the dying of everything that can't handle the new conditions. The more abruptly conditions change the more dying there is. You can jump from a plane with a parachute or without. Either way you will end up at rest on the ground. It matters a great deal how you manage the transition from being in the sky to being on the ground.

Icy conditions have swept across eastern Australia, bringing snow to areas as far north as subtropical Queensland.
Australia's Bureau of Meteorology described it as a "rare" sight, noting the state had not experienced significant snowfall since 2015.
People have been urged to stay indoors amid heavy rain and gale-force winds.

Meteorologist Lachlan Stone said the snowfall in Queensland, driven by colder air from the south, was an unusual occurrence in a state with a sub-tropical to tropical climate.
"But in the south of the state, particularly near the New South Wales border, it's quite mountainous and in the elevated areas it can get quite cold," he told the BBC.

June marks the beginning of winter in Australia.
The nation has just experienced its hottest summer on record and recent extreme weather events including drought, floods and bushfires.

"What that means is there are little pieces of pollution that the snow is forming around, so the snow is actually trapping the pollution and pulling it down," All said in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital.

Get that? Global Warming is now the cause of people leaving their trash behind. Global Warming is magical like that. What a scam.

Officials at Glacier National Park (GNP) have begun quietly removing and altering signs and government literature which told visitors that the Park’s glaciers were all expected to disappear by either 2020 or 2030.
In recent years the National Park Service prominently featured brochures, signs and films which boldly proclaimed that all glaciers at GNP were melting away rapidly. But now officials at GNP seem to be scrambling to hide or replace their previous hysterical claims while avoiding any notice to the public that the claims were inaccurate. Teams from Lysander Spooner University visiting the Park each September have noted that GNP’s most famous glaciers such as the Grinnell Glacier and the Jackson Glacier appear to have been growing—not shrinking—since about 2010. (The Jackson Glacier—easily seen from the Going-To-The-Sun Highway—may have grown as much as 25% or more over the past decade.)​

Visitor Roger Roots detailed the changes, noting that they hadn’t completely scrapped the signage but rather subtly changed the language from saying the glaciers would disappear by 2020 to saying they would be gone in “future generations”.

Basalt eruptions are NOT the most dangerous type of erruptions, they have a Volcanic Explosive Index of 0, they can be tremendous volumes and energy, but move very very slowly
Basalt flows only occur when disolved Silica in the Magma is less than 45% , eg subducted ocean plate
The Hawaii fissure eruptions and Icelandic fissure eruptions are examples of basalt lava flows
