Not as colorful as Tigger's response, but probably far more accurate: Sibel Edmonds.

Oh mine is very accurate. If I wanted to one side it I wouldnt have pointed out that he the senate subcommittee thought her case had merit. The problem is that she's now the poster child for how to not whistleblow and she has set whistleblower rights etc back 10 years. So honestly I was nicer to her then I personally think she deserves. In all honestly she probably shouldnt have been hired. She and a bunch of others were just hired because of 9-11. Its crazy that in 9 days you can go from havent interviewed for a job for the FBI, to be hired to translate classified material in a foreign language, yet thats what happened with her and a bunch of others.

Yes. This is very much the view that the administration has put about. It is what has spread through the right-wing echo chamber and yet this is absent the fact that she hasn't been able to actually say anything because she has been gagged and the senate subcommittee never recalled her to give her information with immunity. Basically, no-one has been willing to let her actually give her information. This has been going on for over six years now. Rather than being a case of how not to blow the whistle it's more a case of whistleblower protection was a total sham, i.e. there IS no way to blow the whistle if you are blowing the whistle on power.
