Who's my hero? Trump? He's not a "hero" of mine and he's not been right on everything he's done, see his handling of the coof jabs. He's just been by far the better of 2 options and it hasn't been even close.

I'm not a lefty weirdo who hero worships a certain party candidate that they previously hated.
 
This is pretty interesting for a couple of reasons, not least of which is, if you'd been found liable for sexual assault, why even pursue it unless you can demonstrate convincingly you're innocent.
All Trump has done here is draw yet more attention to the facts that:
a) he is almost always lying and
b) he was found liable for sexual assault.
I know his ardent fans don't care if he's a lying rapist but I doubt he'll win over too many swing voters with these tactics.

Big Lots Files For Bankruptcy Citing Inflation​

“The company has been adversely affected by recent macroeconomic factors such as high inflation and interest rates that are beyond its control,” Big Lots said in a press release.

“The prevailing economic trends have been particularly challenging to Big Lots, as its core customers curbed their discretionary spending on the home and seasonal product categories that represent a significant portion of the company’s revenue,” the company said.

As part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, Big Lots agreed to sell its business to a private equity firm, Nexus Capital Management for about $760 million, according to court records.

Big Lots runs more than 1,300 stores across 48 states and made around $4.7 billion in revenue over the year that ended in September 2023.

Nearly 300 stores will now close, the company said, but the remaining stores will continue to offer “extreme bargains.” Previously, Big Lots had told the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) it planned to close only 35 to 40 stores.

I'm not siding with either of them, just the overall ridiculous concept that if a person is both a Billionaire and from a Jewish family, any criticism of them is anti-Semitic. The same tactics are used any time someone points out anything George Soros has done.

I remember when Matt Taibi called Goldman Sachs a vampire squid after its role in the crash of 2008. For that he was labelled anti-semitic. This is how the game works. The success of this sort of orchestrated "racial immunity" even inspired mobster Joseph Colombo to found the Italian-American Civil Rights League which went round denouncing anyone blaming crime on the mafia or the mob as anti-Italian racism. It's just a way of turning the overwhelming law abiding majority of a religious or ethnic cohort into unwitting human shields. In the same way, blaming terrorism on Islamic terror groups is Islamophobic. Only white guys can be bad. Pointing out other people's crooks is racist.
